About our properties

The properties may be modern, traditional, terraced, semi-detached or detached, but all are in good residential locations and refurbished to a very high standard to ensure that tenants are comfortable and feel safe.

Working adults have their own individual rooms and then share a communal space and kitchen and bathroom facilities, giving them the opportunity to live in executive quality accommodation with excellent amenities and a sociable environment, for an affordable rent.

“I have enjoyed my stay at the property and would wholeheartedly recommend your company/properties to prospective tenants; in fact I have already done so with several friends, colleagues and co-workers.”
Benjamin, Chelmsford

Fully furnished

The properties are fully furnished, with a bedroom typically comprising a comfortable bed, fitted or free-standing wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, and there will also be a TV aerial point. The communal area will be a sitting room or dining room / area with a TV and DVD player for shared use. Accessories such as mirrors and pictures are included, as is all kitchenware; tenants only have to provide their own bedding and towels.

We select safe residential locations within easy reach of shops, leisure and entertainment facilities, with excellent public transport links close by. There will also usually be storage areas for bikes and parking on-site or near to the property.

All-inclusive

All utility bills, TV licence for the communal area and council tax are included in the rent, as is a weekly cleaning service and wireless broadband. The only additional cost is for those who wish to do their laundry in-house, with coin-operated washing machines and driers available.

House sharers

In all shared properties we try to make sure there is a balance between male and female housemates, all of whom are working adults, and we only accept like-minded people who are respectful of others and easy to get on with.  On average, 17% of Franchise Partners’ tenants are key workers within the local community.

Management & maintenance

In all cases, the properties are managed by either the landlord or their direct representative.  We do not use agencies, thereby avoiding costly overheads, which tend to be reflected in high administration fees for tenants.  You have a line of contact to the property manager or landlord 7 days a week, and we pride ourselves on dealing with any issues as soon as they arise and resolving them as quickly as possible.

“My bedroom is very nice and comfortable and the house is amazing – I really love the lounge, the kitchen and the garden.  I also love the fresh painting and the pictures you’ve put up…you’ve done a great and wonderful job!”
Nolwenn, Poole

‘I can confirm that the property has been extensively refurbished and upgraded to produce an HMO of exceptional quality.  Occupiers are  of managerial or professional background as a consequence.’
Nick Hanson, FRICS, Director, Allied Surveyors (Basingstoke)
